The cars full of visitors to the NC Zoo just keep coming this weekend.
The spring colors are about at peak on the drive in. The Zoo's collection of tens of thousands of imported plants are lookin' good too.

I enjoyed the zoo all day Sunday. The weather was perfect. I saw Miracle in her exhibit with the other zebras. I talked a right good while with the staff member who was showing the zoo's hybrid Toyota. I saw all the birds I could find in the Aviary. I took lots of photos and especially enjoyed spending time watching the elephants. After a long day I took a rest on the bench at the cougar habitat for at least a half hour. It was a lot of fun watching so many see the big cats. I do love the cats the most, but the flamingos were also stunning. Plus, I left with two Red Oaks to plant in my yard. What a wonderful day!!!
