Our friends (Hugh and 'Crae) at Grandfather Mountain tell us their otters "are celebrating spring by tearing up grass in their habitats."

Staff there has decided to bring in topsoil and to reseed the otters' habitat. They'd use sod, but say "the otters treat sod like a toy."
