Another Parma Joey Grows Up
The newest NC Zoo Parma wallaby joey is attaining size and making its presence known in the Progress Energy Australian Walkabout exhibit complex. The wallaby is a "little kangaroo".
The little, little kangaroo is the second born at the new NC Zoo complex, which opened last year.
Wallaby (and kangaroo) joeys take quite some time to grow within the pouch and begin venturing out, as this little one is now doing.
