Slow Going

The Operation Migration, 1,200-mile flight of whooping cranes is still going. (Link)

I posted about this when they made the annual take-off, with humans and ultra-light airplane, in October. This has been a tough year for weather conditions.

There are still very few whooping cranes (300 or so).
