"Extinct" in Australia?

A study of Australian zoos indicates that African elephants, black rhinos and jaguars are on their way out of collections on the continent due to trade restrictions and poor breeding prospects.

Leopards, Polar bears and hippos may be among those to follow, as the exotic mammal species in Australian zoos are expected to drop from 127 to 31, reports Andrew Darby for the Sydney Morning Herald.
