"Maggie May" Not

The Alaska Zoo elephant, Maggie, for whom a large, expensive treadmill was created late last year has not yet learned to make good use of it, a brief journal of the project, by Zoo Director Patrick Lampi reports.

I posted about this ("One Big Jogger") in late September.

And then there was the Maggie May (2006) posting. Only the Alaska Zoo keepers seemed to be breaking a sweat was the suggestion in a Gulf Daily News elephant treadmill story.

Now (August 24), Peter Hadzipetros reports, for CBC News, "Maggie May", but so far has not.
