Changes in Elephant Plans

Maryland Zoo has delayed plans to improve its elephant exhibit in order to deal with other pressing renovations. (Link)

This means the Philadelphia Zoo's three African females are not heading to Baltimore as planned.

Pleased the larger North Carolina Zoo elephant exhibit and new "barn" are proceeding nicely.
