Philly Elephants Headed Across State
The three African elephants once earmarked to come to the North Carolina Zoo from the Philadelphia Zoo will now go to a new facility being created by the Pittsburgh Zoo.

Are these the ones that were spoken of this past weekend? If so why the sudden change?

No, Brian. Those three are still heading this way soon. Probably by the end of the month.
The Philadelphia elephants have not yet bred and there was some feeling that they might be getting a little old for first time breeding.
Ok thanks for the update, can't wait to see them in the comming months. Thanks again for a great time.
