Animal Messengers
The Valerie H. Schindler Wildlife Rehabilitation Center now has an eastern king snake and red bellied woodpecker added to its educational animals roster. They will help tell the story of how humans can avoid injuring and orphaning our local wild animals.
The Center serves about 1000 orphaned and injured animals each year. It is volunteer staffed and funded.
