Not Bipolar Bears

Arthur W. Clark, past NC Zoo Society Board director and NC Zoo Park Council Chair, has made many trips to the North Pole and to Antarctica. His slides shows are quite popular with civic clubs, etc.

Polar bears are only in the Arctic. He helps teach this by noting that they are "not bipolar bears".

Penguins are not bipolar as well, living only in Antarctica.

Polar bears eat seals...not penguins. Seals are handier.
