Zoo's Virgin Dragon Gives Birth II
Now its happened in the U.S. A Komodo dragon has given birth without any aid from a male Komodo dragon.
I posted reports of this in U.K. zoos last January.
Facultative parthenogenesis, its called. Sharks, lizards, snakes are some of the larger examples.
Speaking of "larger", a 10-foot, 365-pound Komodo dragon has been verified.
