Saw all 5 NC Zoo giraffes on exhibit at once for the first time Friday. (Touring good Society Friends, all the animals were cooperating Friday; two elephants were submerging in the upper exhibit pool, black bears and chimps were fetching treats just offered by the keepers, all the Sonora Desert nocturnal animals were active and visible, and more!)
