A male Bald Eagle will arrive at the NC Zoo from Florida. It will soon go into the old peregrine falcon exhibit at Rocky Coast.

Russ,
How are you? Is there a time timetable for his arrival? This is very exciting news!!! I can't wait to see him.
Very soon. Basically just travel and quarantine time "delay". Of course this will be a wing-injured eagle. "Flighted" bald eagles are not displayed in the USA.
Right I remember that. What created the change in exhibit from Peregrine Falcon to Eagle?
Either Peregrine Falcon or Bald Eagle fit the "Rocky Coast" theme. They were looking for either, to replace. Change is nice.
