Made It to Mintom

Dr. Mike Loomis and his elephant tracking team have reached the next destination in Cameroon. Before they do their research on African elephants, which involves temporarily immobilizing the animals, they meet with local authorities to get their support and understanding.

"Over the course of the morning we met with the mayor, the police commissioner, the local gendarmes, and the area chief. They are all very supportive of our mission and wished us good luck."
