Deconstructing the Wetland
The NC Zoo will use trained dogs (border collies, I've heard) to try to keep Canada geese out of the just-planted "constructed wetland". The geese are deconstructing the wetland, created by the Zoo horticulture staff to naturally treat the water that runs off our North America parking lot.
The dogs will try to "convince" the geese to eat elsewhere.
