Not Toys

"Taking Live Penguins Into a Hot, Crowded, Noisy Shop is Shocking and Irresponsible By Philip Knowling Torquay, UK - Penguin experts at a zoo in Devon have criticized Hamley's toy shop in London for plans to bring live penguins into their Regent Street store. Elaine Hayes, the Director of Living Coasts Aquarium, said: "It is very bad for their welfare and will be incredibly stressful for them. I had hoped the days of the performing circus animal were over. Live penguins are not cuddly toys."" [Zoo and Aquarium Visitor facebook page]
