Umoya Killed?
San Diego Zoo’s Safari Park lost a female African elephant today. Zookeepers are reported to believe “there might have been an aggressive interaction with another elephant.”
She “was one of the original seven African elephants rescued from being killed in Swaziland because of overpopulation.”
I am currently reading “Zoo Story” by Thomas French. The Swaziland elephants are featured in it, especially the ones that went instead to Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo.

I haven't read the book, but I have it on podcast and I have listened to it many times. It is a very interesting story. It would be great if we could do something like that at the NC Zoo! Could that be a reality?

If you mean could there be a book written about the NC Zoo, maybe when I retire.
A book, a news paper series (which was what that story started as), a tv series based there or about it. Anything to gain national exposure.
