Anchorage Daily News 1/26/12
"Sea ice is encroaching unusually early on the central Bering Sea, threatening to grind Alaska's economically important snow crab fishery to a holt at the peak of the season, leaving crabbers facing major losses."
"Crabbing boats are out retrieving their pots or sitting in Dutch Harbor rather than delivering their catch to the now iced-in Trident seafoods processing plant on St. Paul."
The ice is moving at a rate of 10-15 miles a day, 2-3 miles a day is normal.
Oooppss! Their is no ice? Really?
The overall trend is to receding Arctic ice. You refer to local weather.
The overall trend has been retreating ice since the little ice age. Did man cause the end of the little ice age? If so then CO2 is not the cause.
