Off the Campaign Trail

Newt continues to visit zoos as he campaigns for the Republican presidential nomination.

A confessed zoo lover, Gingrich toured the San Diego Zoo yesterday. He even once "slept over" at the San Diego Safari Park for one of its "Snore and Roar" programs.
