The Promise of Ebo
Dr. Mike summarizes the Elephants of Cameroon team's first foray into Ebo Reserve.
"We encountered elephants three times in the last three days. In each case, we were unable to get a collar on an animal. In a couple of cases, the forest was too dense for us to get off a shot. In one other instance, bad weather blew up...which allowed the elephant to detect us..."
"...we managed to learn a lot about the Ebo Reserve... I feel confident that, if we return to Ebo in the dry season, we will be able to get an elephant collared."
